Products I’ve Been Loving – Budget & Travel Friendly

Hey guys! Hope you’re all well! I recently got back from a much needed trip to Nigeria and noticed some of the products I packed came in so handy whilst I was out there. Don’t you just love when you pack the right products, especially when luggage allowance is being an enemy of progress lol. Going to a hotttt climate is hard but these beauty gems made life a whole lot easier…

Dr Organic Aloe Vera Gel (£5.59) – I’ve spoken about this on here before so you know my love for Aloe Vera gel will never end. I used it as a pre-moisturiser, on bug bites (the joys of Africa ey) anytime I had itchy skin or when I just felt like my skin needed to be cooled down. It’s so great for intense heat because it really calms the skin and you can use it for so many things! 5 stars from moi 🙂

Soap & Glory ‘Hand Food’ Hand Cream Mini Version (£2.50) – There’s not much to say about this apart from a hand cream is so vital! From the plane to my destination and back this worked wonders… Not to mention it smells good.

Simple ‘Kind to Skin  SPF 15’ Protecting Light Moisturiser (£4.35) – This is my general everyday moisturiser but using it in such a warm climate made me appreciate it more. Although I should have probably used a cream with more SPF, this worked great due to its light yet moisturising feeling. It did not make my face feel heavy/sticky and was great under my makeup.

Simple ‘Kind to Skin’ Facial Wipes (£3.25) – I always use wipes to remove my makeup before deep cleansing and I think these wipes are so ideal for holidays. They’re extremely soft and helped to remove the top layer of grime and makeup on my face. Good thing I carried enough because my family kept asking me to use these too.

Zara Woman ‘Fruity’ Eau De Toilette (£5.99) – A lovely perfume to just chuck in your bag when you’re on the go! I love the small 30ml size and the scent screams Spring/Summer.  I’m a fan of Zara perfumes and this particular one made me feel fresh every time I used it.

John Frieda ‘Frizz Ease’ Nourishing Oil Elixir (£9.99) – Humidity and weave is no joke, just keeping it real lol. My hair was just on a rampage. Luckily I had this on hand and although it could only do so much without the sweat and heat destroying my hair again, it managed to tame frizz pretty well.

Clarins Toning Lotion with Iris (£19.50) – Can I get a moment of silence for my favourite toner. I’ve been using this for over two years now and was able to grab this large 400ml size at Duty Free for the same price as the 200ml I normally buy. It’s so refreshing and does not dry out the skin, so it was a good choice before and after a long day in the sun. I’ve had the bottle for about a month now and I’ve still got over 3/4 of product left. Winning!

There you have it, my pocket friendly travel essentials. Let me know yours if you have any, especially for a hot climate.
