Sometimes I have those days where I really cannot be bothered to put makeup on but I’d still like to look semi-decent. It’s not everyday full face, sometimes it’s okay to strip back. On days like these, there’s five products I can count on to make me look like I rolled out of the right side of bed.
My eyebrows are the most important thing on my face so I have to make sure they’re done. In this case, I’d reach for my Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil in the shade ‘Black Brown’ as it’s simple and does the job. It also comes with an eyebrow brush on the lid that comes in so handy for brushing through my brows too. My eyebrows are quite thick so I brush through them then fill them in very lightly. The aim of the game is to just follow my shape and fill in my sparse hairs. Afterwards, I’ll proceed to make myself look awake by using Benefit ‘They’re Real’ Mascara to elongate my lashes and open up my my eyes.
Next up I’ll clean up my brows with MAC Studio Finish Concealer in ‘NW45’. On a normal day I’d use a lighter shade such as ‘NC45’ but for a natural look I’ll turn to this. I’ll move on to conceal my under eye circles and any blemishes on my face. This is a holy grail concealer for me as the orange shade allows it to work as a corrector too. Bonus points!
Mac Mineralize Skin Finish Natural in ‘Dark’ will follow to set my concealer and provide me with a light coverage. This is not a foundation powder but it does have quite a bit of colour as well as subtle shimmer which gives me a healthy glow. Then, last but not least I’ll use my fav NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in ‘Stockholm’ – a pinky nude, on my lips to finish off the look.
There you have it, a quick five product face when I’m having a lazy day. I’m more of a ten products type of girl, maybe more *covers face* as I love highlighting with a lighter concealer and contouring but jheez it’s work sometimes.
