September Favourites

My first official post! If you’re reading this heyyy, and thanks for visiting my blog. It’s been a LONG time coming, but I’m finally on the blogosphere lol and I can’t wait to share my journey with you guys. I’d rather not bore you with a deep intro so if you would like to know a bit more about what this blog will feature, click here.

Ready? let’s get to it…

As we’re in the second week of October already *shocked face*, I thought I’d start this blog off with my September favourites. It may be a little late but there were some products I just couldn’t (and still can’t) get enough of course I just have to share! 😉

SLEEK ‘Sahara’ Blush – I’m really weird when it comes to blusher. One month I’ll wear it then the next month I won’t, but September just happened to be the month where I wore it throughout. The temperature started to get cooler and I just felt the need to warm my face up with this gorgeous orangey brown shade by Sleek. It gives such a healthy glow to the skin and looks great, especially on darker skintones. (Excuse my battered blush in the images, I’ve had mine for ages.)

MAKEUP REVOLUTION ‘Rock on World’ Bronzer – This right here is bae! Bae of all baes until I find a bae better hehe. I don’t know why it took me so long to discover this bronzer, but I am so happy I did. Currently I use this as a highlighter as it makes my cheekbones pop… I can’t seem to put it down. Every time I wear makeup I wear this by force lol. For £4, you can’t go wrong at all.

URBAN DECAY ‘Naked 1’ Palette – After getting this infamous palette for Christmas last year (yep, I know I was late) I haven’t been able to put it down. It is hands down one of my most used makeup products and a great year rounder. I love the selection of warm golds and browns, perfect for transitioning from season to season.

CLARINS ‘Gentle Foaming Cleanser Combo/Oily skin’ Cleanser  – I’ve been using this cleanser for almost two years now and it hasn’t failed me.  I use this morning and night, it  feels so luxurious on my skin and gives me a refreshed feeling. Although it’s targeted at combo/oily skin, it’s actually not drying at all. I highly recommend.

MAC ‘Creme in your Coffee’ Lipstick – Autumn is here so I dusted off this lipstick last month and remembered why I was so eager to buy it last year. It’s a pink/brown which looks great on all skin tones and has the most beautiful consistency as it’s a cremesheen. Surprisingly, it lasts quite long on the lips and is a great colour for this time of the year.

BENEFIT ‘They’re Real’ Mascara  – When I ran out of my last tube of this, I decided to use the L’oreal Telescopic Mascara which worked fine (not to mention it was almost £9 cheaper) but when it finished something told me to buy this mascara again and that’s when I realised nothing else compares. I don’t have the longest lashes but this really helps to elongate them which is why I can’t get enough of it.!

That’s it for September guys! Before we know it, it will be time for October favourites.. I hope you enjoyed my first post. Stay tuned for more! x
